Product Description

Soy protein isolate 90% is an extremely high-valuable product. It is rich in proteins and essential amino acids, making it an ideal substitute for high-grade animal proteins. This product also has high solubility. Different sub-types of these ingredients can be produced by adapting the production process to enhance various product characteristics, such as gel formation, dispersibility, and water and oil binding properties. Soy protein isolate is made by first dissolving defatted soybean flakes in water. The protein-rich liquid fraction is separated from the solid fraction. The proteins from the liquid fraction are then treated again using an isoelectric precipitation method, then separated, washed and dried. The end product is a light-yellowish fine powder with a characteristic aroma and neutral acidity.

The high nutritional value and functional properties of soy protein isolate 90% make it perfect for various applications in foodstuffs, such as nutritional blends, UHT drinks, food for infants and processed meat or dough products.
